The Diner en Blanc is an annual invitation only celebration. The Diner en Blanc starts at home. The Pique-nigueurs prepare a dinner that is prêt-à-servir;but one that can be called culinary. They all go to an unkonown location by bus and setup the table, food and wine. There will be entertainment, music and dance on a special location.

Groot Hart maakt een racebelevenis mogelijk voor kinderen die leven met een hartafwijking of een ernstige ziekte. Hoogtepunt van de dag: de Groot Hart Rondes. In een Radical (de raceauto) mee met coureur Rob Kamphues (Groot Hart-initiatiefnemer) of een van de andere rijders. VKV City Racing Rotterdam Op een druilerig Noordereiland in Rotterdam ontvingen we op zondag 18 augustus weer een aantal gezinnen voor een dag racebelevenis. En wat voor een: VKV City Racing. Met Groot Hart hadden we een mooie plek in de paddock gekregen. Hier mochten we de truck van raceteam Intrax als ons tijdelijk thuishonk inrichten. Al snel brak de zon door en konden we ons opmaken voor een dag vol racespektakel. De kinderen werden ontvangen door Groot Hart-initiatiefnemer Rob Kamphues. Ook onze ambassadeur Tom Coronel was daarbij aanwezig. Diverse coureurs met een groot hart stonden klaar met even diverse auto’s, onder meer de Racing Diva’s Pauline Zwart, Gaby Uljee en Sandra van der Sloot met hun Radical en de Enige Echte F1-commentator van Nederland Olav Mol met een Renault Spider. En natuurlijk Rob Kamphues zelf met zijn Radical.
